Do I have to make a reservation to attend harvest fest?
No, you don’t have to make a reservation, but pre-registering is highly recommended. We have limited indoor cabin space and we work on a first-come-first-served basis. Once the cabins are full, the remaining spaces left are for camping.
How early can I arrive on the first day of the festival?
You must NOT arrive prior to 3:00 pm on the first day of the festival. Our staff will be busy setting up and need to be uninterrupted to have things ready on time. on all following days registration opens at 9am.
Is Harvest Fest child friendly?
Absolutely! Harvest Fest is a family oriented festival. The festival site affords children a unique setting in which to explore their spirituality and their pagan heritage in a safe and constructive environment. We offer children’s programming to keep them active and entertained.
Who can attend Harvest Fest?
Harvest Fest is open to everyone of all faiths, of all cultures, of all shapes and sizes. We stive to be as inclusive as possible. Although there are restrictions, we strive to be accessible and are improving all the time. Please contact us if you have specific requirements that we can help with.
Can I drink the water at the Festival?
Drinking water is available in the kitchen. Ask our staff or volunteers to fill your containers. Please avoid using the water in the bathrooms for anything but washing.
Can I create a fire pit at my campsite if one doesn’t already exist there?
No! It is absolutely forbidden to create any new fire pits. You must use the pre-existing fire pits only. Exceptions can be made for gas cooking stoves upon request.
What is the weather like during Harvest Fest?
Weather varies year to year. However, we typically experience daytime temperatures between 17-28 degrees celsius, with overnight temperatures dropping to between 10-19 degrees celsius. We recommend checking the weather ahead of time, and preparing for both rain and shine.
Can I bring a trailer?
Trailer spots are VERY limited. The site is not designed for trailer accommodations, so no water or hydro connections exist. If you want to bring a trailer, please email us at [email protected] to ensure we have space for you! Depending on the size of the trailers, we can only accommodate 5-7 at a time.
Can I bring music instruments to the festival?
Yes. Music is a big part of all of the pagan traditions. However, we ask that you do not bring any instruments that require electric amplification without asking us first.
Are pets allowed at Harvest Fest?
We are unable to accommodate pets at the site. If you bring your pets you will be redirected to a local kennel which you are asked to use at your own cost. Service animals are always welcome!
Are there shower facilities at Harvest Fest?
Full, hot showers, bathrooms and public bathrooms available on site as well as outhouses in the camping areas.
